Our workshop in Ramsgate is where every Blackthorn of Kent kitchen comes to life. Here, Ben and Sean combine traditional joinery techniques with modern precision to create bespoke pieces that will last for generations.
We welcome clients to visit by appointment. It's the best way to understand our approach, see our craftsmanship firsthand, and discuss your project in detail. You'll see works in progress, sample finishes and materials, and meet the people who will build your kitchen.
What You'll See
Traditional Techniques
Watch dovetails being cut, see how we construct solid timber frames, and understand why our methods create furniture that lasts. We're happy to explain every aspect of our craft.
Premium Materials
Examine our timber stocks, feel the quality of our boards, and explore the paint colours available. Seeing materials in person is invaluable when making design decisions.
